When you cannot remember any of the subscription codes for MTN data bundle plan or for easy access to the data bundle plans you can go through the USSD menu. The data USSD menu can be accessed by dialing *131#.
When you dial *131# reply with 1(buy data plans) and follow the prompt, replying with the appropriate number that suites the data bundle plan you need (daily, weekly, monthly, bimonthly and quarterly).
HOW TO CHECK MTN DATA BUNDLE BALANCE
To check MTN data bundle allotted and balance of any of the plans at any point in time simply send 2 to 131.
You can also check MTN data bundle balance through the USSD menu and to do that, dial *131# and reply with 4 (check balance).
MTN also has a Night data bundle plan which goes for #25 with 500MB data allowance and is available within the hours of 12:00AM to 4:00AM. This Night package is available to MTN prepaid subscribers on MTN Pulse.
