MIGRATION OUT OF MTN BETA TALK PREPAID PLAN
You can always migrate out of MTN Beta talk prepaid plan whenever you want to for any reason whatsoever. To migrate out of MTN Beta talk simply migrate to any other MTN prepaid plan and you will be automatically removed from MTN Beta talk.
You should bear in mind that whenever you migrate out of MTN Beta talk prepaid plan all bonuses you have before migration would be wiped away.
HOW TO GET MTN BETA TALK 250% BONUS
On a successful migration to MTN Beta talk prepaid plan, you automatically qualify for 250% bonus on every successful recharge of #100 and above made through the regular paper airtime and VTU (virtual Top Up). You get 150% bonus on every recharge below #100.
You get the 250% bonus only when you recharge airtime through the regular *555*recharge PIN# code. Any other code or method used does not qualify for the 250% bonus.
Airtime recharge through Virtual Top Up (VTU) also qualifies for the 250% bonus. Virtual Top Up below #100 qualifies for 150% bonus.
Airtime received through share and sell(airtime transfer) does not qualify for the 250% bonus.
The 250% bonus cannot be transferred to another MTN customer.
The MTN Beta talk 250% bonus has a validity of 7 days. Each recharge comes with a validity of 7 days after which it expires and every unused bonus is wiped off. The bonus can be accumulated. Every recharge extends the validity by 7 days.
HOW TO CHECK THE 250% BONUS ON MTN BETA TALK PREPAID PLAN.
To check the 250% bonus received on MTN Beta talk prepaid plan dial *556# or *559*43.
When you dial *556# it shows both the main account balance and the 250% bonus balance.
When you dial *559*43# it shows only the 250% bonus balance. Using this code displays the 250% BONUS twice. The two bonuses displayed are the same.
CALL AND SMS RATES ON MTN BETA TALK PREPAID PLAN
Calls are charged on different rates on MTN Beta talk prepaid plan. The call rate for making calls with the main account is different from the rate for calls made with the bonus account.
All local calls to all networks are charged at the rate of #25.20/min (per minute)or 42k/secs from the main account.
All local calls to all networks are charged at #27/min (per minute)or 45k/secs from the bonus account.
Once there is bonus on the MTN Beta talk bonus account, all local calls are charged from it first till it gets exhausted or expires, before the main account would be charged.
SMS RATES
SMS to all local networks is charged at a flat rate of #4.
You cannot make international calls, send international SMS, or subscribe to any subscription based services like RBT (ring back tunes (caller tunes)) and data bundle plans with the 250% bonus account.
MTN Beta talk prepaid customers are not eligible to send airtime, both from the main and bonus accounts through share and sell (airtime transfer). They can only receive airtime through share and sell from other MTN customers on any other prepaid plans. Airtime received through share and sell does qualify for the 250% bonus.
