Purchase PIN Update For Recharge and Get Paid

Recharge and get paid lately introduced a security layer over airtime recharge purchase and data bundle subscriptions. The company introduced the security measure for all members to guard against unauthorized airtime recharge and data bundle subscriptions. Every member by this is mandated to create a purchase PIN to protect their account from anyone having access to recharge airtime or subscribe to data bundle.

You might have noticed that when you try to buy airtime or subscribe to data bundle plans using your recharge and get paid account, you would be asked to enter a Purchase PIN. That may come as a surprise to you as you have not come across that before now. Never worry or panic, recharge and get paid is simply trying to protect you from fraudulent activities.

As an extra security measure, anyone having your username and password, even you, without the recharge PIN, cannot recharge airtime or perform data bundle subscriptions

How to Create a Recharge and Get Paid Purchase PIN

Going forward, as a recharge and get paid member, you must have a purchase PIN which you must provide before you can recharge airtime or subscribe to any data bundle plan.

To create a purchase PIN for your recharge and get paid account simply follow this process.

Login to your recharge and get paid account as you normally would do using your username and password.

Look on the left-hand side of your membership dashboard for PROFILE DETAILS and click on it to expand the other menu options under it.

Click on PURCHASE PIN UPDATE.

Before you proceed make sure you have access to the email address you have in your recharge and get paid profile, as the default recharge PIN would be sent to that email address.

If you do not have access to the email address in your recharge and get paid profile, contact recharge and get paid so they can help you change the email address in your profile.

Once you have settled everything about the email address in your profile and certain that you have access to it, Click on DIDN”T GET A CODE? RESEND to have your purchase PIN sent to your email address.

A notification shows which reads “www.rechargeandgetpaid.com says Please check your email for a message with your PIN to set your purchase pin”. Click OK.

A default security PIN would be sent to the email address in your recharge and get paid profile. Check your email inbox for an email message from RAGP with the title “Purchase Pin set“. Open the email and you will find a 7digit default PIN.

Go back to your recharge and get paid membership dashboard. 

Enter the 7-digit code sent to your email address in the space for Security PIN.

Enter your personal 7digit PIN in the space for NEW PURCHASE PIN.

Enter your new purchase PIN again in the space for CONFIRM PURCHASE PIN.

When you are done click on RESET MY PURCHASE PIN

That settles it as you have successfully created a Purchase PIN for your recharge and get paid account. The PIN you created is now protection over your recharge and get paid account for airtime and data transactions.

Every other detail (username and password) about your recharge and get paid account remains the same. The recharge purchase PIN is only needed when you want to buy airtime or subscribe to data bundle plans.

The recharge purchase PIN is for your personal use and should not be given to anyone. It is like a key to the money in your recharge and get paid account, and without it, no one, even you, can buy airtime or data bundle plans. Keep it safe and secured.

  1. I can’t login to my account I don’t know why please what is the problem and I have people to introduce to it, I need help please don’t

    1. Check your login details (username and password) and make sure you correctly entered them.
      You can contact recharge and get paid customer support desk so they can help your reset your password if you have forgotten it.

  2. Please I need your help. I can’t get my security pin. It’s like the person who registered me didn’t use my email address.

    1. The security PIN may arrive at a later time to your mailbox, but in a situation where it doesn’t for more than 24hours you will have to generate another one.

      If you are in doubt about the email address you have on your recharge and get paid profile, login to your account and go through the update profile to check if you have access to the email address there.

      Unfortunately, you cannot edit or change the email address, you will have to contact recharge and get paid customer service to do that for you.
